Payment Information

All water and sewer bills are due by the 15th of every month. If payment is not received, 5% of the unpaid balance will be added to your account as a penalty. If you cannot pay your current water bill by the due date, you can be put on the Extension List for a fee of $20.00; this provides you an additional five business days to pay your bill without penalty.

All minimum payments for Shut Off Notices are also due by the 15th of the month.

Note: If you do not honor the payment arrangements made to be put on the Extension List, your water will be turned off and all applicable fees and penalties will be added to your account.

Payment Options

Utility Bills may be paid inside City Hall (231 Trowbridge St., Allegan, MI 49010), sent via mail, or via the payment drop box located at the front of City Hall during non-operational hours. The drop box is checked every morning at 8:30am.
